Whowhatwear Day 30: Leave the details to your shoes

These shoes have certainly earned their cost per wear value. I've probably had them over ten years, and I think they were around £10 from Primark. They've been re - heeled at least once and they're obviously not leather, but I love the colour and style. The heel is just the right height to be able to wear all day and they go with a surprising number of outfits. Sadly this was their last outing as they split at the sole and had to be binned. I went for a bit
of a 70s vibe matching these shoes with suede and button -through denim.

Whowhatwear Day 25: Dress up a pair of distressed jeans

These jeans used to belong to a friend of mine,  where they had one or 2 tiny distressed patches. Over the years they became more and more ripped to the point that I actually couldn't wear them. They were sat, abandoned, at the back of my closet for ages until I finally sat down with a needle and thread and sewed up the worst of the rips. The patch on my left thigh was unsalvageable so I patched it with tartan cotton for a punk vibe. I've dressed it up with black and white stripes, a black velvet blazer and black and white leopard patterned flats.

Whowhatwear Day 19: Pair your favourite denim pieces together for a denim-on-denim look.

I've always been a bit wary of the double denim look, scared of going full on 90's. Or veering too far into cowgirl territory. Think I just about got away with this one though, mixing different shades of denim and keeping it simple.

Whowhatwear Day 13 - Make a neutral outfit interesting by layering and adding a pair of statement shoes

Neutral is easy for me, I often end up in head to toe neutrals if I don't have time to think about matching colours or patterns. I'm really into grey at the moment so my outfit is mostly grey, with a white t shirt (just seen) and an ecru Jacket. After declaring my love for flats in yesterday's outfit, I've cracked out these amazing statement red leopard shoe boots.

Whowhatwear Day 8: Break out an item you haven't worn in at least 6 months

This was a bit of a tricky challenge. Although I own more clothes than I can fit on my wardrobe, I tend to wear them all, apart from formal dresses. One day I might be brave enough to wear a ballgown to work, but for today I went with some cropped jeans I've not worn since summer and a t shirt from the back of my wardrobe! Not my favourite look so far, but it's still good to try different things.
